some friends and I are huge drinkers and comic fans as well. Just wondering if anyone knows of some wicked cocktail mixes that can be named after superheroes or villians. I know the incredible hulk is one, does anybody have some ideas?

Which is the incredible hulk? I don't know any, but we can name one here! My uncle is sometimes drinking whiskey, Vodka, orange juice. It sounds weird, but it's great. We can name it here, it doesn't have a name.

I'm not a big cocktail guy. If I'm drinking liquor, I'm drinking it straight. And if I'm not drinking liquor, I'm drinking beer.

At Comic-Con this year we stopped at an Indian restaurant that had drink specials for the weekend named after superheroes to sucker rubes like me.

I forget what was what though.

When my friends and I were young and foolish, we made many, many Incredible Hulks. So stupid, and so expensive... If I recall correctly they were simply equal parts Hennessey and Hpnotiq. Christ, we were stupid.

As far as other cocktails that could be rechristened after comic book characters, let's see...

Masters of Evil - Equal parts Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, and Jose Cuervo - traditionally known as a Three Wise Men

Human Torch - any flaming shot

Pepper Potts - Bloody Mary made with Absolut Peppar

Gamma Bomb - Drop a shot of Jager into a half-pint of Red Bull - obviously traditionally known as a Jager Bomb

Spider Jerusalem - wash down a handful of pills with half a bottle of whiskey

You know, I once spent an afternoon text messaging back and forth with a friend of mine and enjoying Manhattans at my favorite bar. She signed off with "Enjoy your Dr. Manhattans." She's quality, that one.
