Hi everybody, it has been a year or two now that I have been collecting hellboy and bprd comics, however I do not own a single one of the novels. I've decided to buy a few but I'm not sure which ones to get first sooo...
I need your advice! Which books are your top three or so that you would reccomend.
I'm looking forward to your responses.

They are all really good reads, I enjoyed them all. once you start with one, you will want to read more. Pick up a few of them.

"Odd Jobs" and "Odder Jobs" are anthologies and the rest are novels. I like both of the anthologies.

My top three novels would be:

The Lost Army
Bones of Giants
The God Machine

My favorite thus far has been The Dragon Pool. It's a mostly faced paced book with little to no down time which I really liked.

Bones of Giant and the Lost Army are also good.

Thank you for your reactions, I am thinking about getting dragon pool and bones of giants mainly because they seem to be on discount in the Netherlands. And petriacce I really appreciate the offer but it would be such a hassle for you to send it across the ocean.:D

Those would be my favorites as well. I still haven't read Dragon Pool yet.

Being my usual cheap self, I ordered the cheapest versions of dragon pool and bones of giants. But today I noticed that they were pocketsize, do these still have the mignola images in them and in a reasonable size? Or should I cancel the order and get some bigger books?

Dragon pool was always pocket size, bones of giants was a little bigger, and still soft covers,. I wouln't bother. Happy Reading:D

As far as Mignola pages, I always thought they were, unless someone else says otherwise.

I have the pocket sized Bones of Giants and found the images to be of a good size. Sometimes they take up 3/4's of a page or even the whole page.
