I first started collecting comics back in the late 80's when the Justice League was fighting these guys or at least robot dupes of these guys...

I am. it's a shame DC didn't use these guys at all, they were so f'n cool when they were introduced. The whole arrogance they had about them. I hated the way the story ended, I really wish they'd have gone a different route.

I hope DC really cashes in on these guys and nails it....

Agreed, the whole Extremists are robots from Mitch's Wacky World was a sell out. At least Dreamslayer was real. Let's hope these guys whoop some arse on their world.

We'll probably see those superheroes from their world like Wandjina, Blue Jay and that Sorceress that was with JLE for a while.


I would also love to see Wizkids make some Heroclix of the Extremists!!!

I like these characters, and I hope this story covers some more of their origins on their homeworld, Angor, and the rest of the Champions (Jack B. Quick, Tin Man, etc.).

They looked pretty cool. Slightly different than I remembered from the old JLI days.

They have a lot of attitude which is nice. For example, they gave the challengers a beatdown for accidentally teleporting into Lord Havok's palace.

At the end, Monarch came and looks like he is going to recruit them to hunt down the Challengers after they escaped.

So the challengers will probably be Quantum Leaping with some bad a$$ villains on their tails.

I don't know why but I'm totally excited for this, I think we get a glimpse of the new Wandjina as well, this is gonna totally kick ass.

Never read their earlier appearances, but I am getting it. Ahdunno, I liked Golgoth better as the evil power-armored guy that actually won in his universe.

You should check out some of their earlier appearances -- that way you get to enjoy the JLI at the same time. :)

Not liking the design of the new Lord havoc , the old one was cooler and better.

The new Lord Havoc just looked too much like a copycat of Sharp's old assignment - Death's Head II aka Minion.
