Considering the fact that Knockout is currently taking the big New God dirtnap, Deadshot's still doing stuff for the Suicide Squad, and Harley's off being an Amazon/Fury, it may be a little more difficult than it was before.

Did you read the Birds of Prey story? That was the actual "last one".

Heck. What would they be down to now? The Secret Two?

it's a damn shame too, they were one of the coolest teams in the DCU. Scandal, Catman and Ragdoll are still around and kicking, they could always get Floyd away from the government work and that gets them up to four. Add one more character, like every Secret Six story seems to do, and we've got five, and add Grundy to top it off, heck he liked Ragdoll back in VU

Scandal was picked up by the Suicide Squad in the last issue of Checkmate as well, presumably to be shipped off to that villians-on-alien-planet miniseries which I can't remember the name of.

Then you definitely need to pick up the next Birds of Prey trade when it comes out (vol. 7: Whitewater--it least I imagine that's what they'll call it). It will contain, at the very least, BOP #104-108, which is not only Gail Simone's swan song on BOP, but also a "BOP meets Secret Six" storyline (by the lady who wrote both teams). Among other things, it includes a fight between two New Gods: Big Barda and Knockout.
The book may possibly also include some or all of issues #109-112, written by Tony Bedard, and also very good.
#109 contains the death of one of the Secret Six: Knockout.
Seriously, if you liked Gail's first two Secret Six books, you will need to get this. But the trade probably won't be out for another six months or so.

Okay, they're calling it DEAD OF WINTER, it collects #104-108, and it's due out on February 27. Secret Six fans who like trades definitely need to pick it up.
I was under the impression the Secret Six was basically replaced by the everything-old-is-new-again Suicide Squad. Or at least that the Squad was filling the void the Six left.

Maybe in a sense. But I think a lot of the appeal in SS was the particular characters that made it up and their interaction together. The only character the two groups share is Deadshot, so it's not going to be the same (especially without Gail Simone).

They showed up (via flashback) in Dini's latest issue of 'Tec, the one that spotlighted Harley & Riddler.

Ya know, I know this will be unpopular, but why trade Secret Six for the Suicide Squad? I liked Suicide Squad don't get men wrong I have all the Ostrander issues. But the Six were way cooler. Seems like a step back. I would have much prefered Waller aproaches them and forces them to work for her.
