CBR premieres Ron Lim's variant cover to "Laurell K Hamilton’s Anita Blake, Vapire Hunter: The First Death" #2, depicting Anita Blake vs. the Marvel Zombies! We've also got new artwork from Lim's "Guilty Pleasures."

its just a cover. ron lim's art has gotten better over the years. I especially liked his brief run on Cable & Deadpool recently. although, I do have to say he got the details on the zombies incorrect. also, black panther is on the cover as a zombie and he never turned into one.

It's everywhere. It's insane how many zombie original and variant covers there are to titles that are not really all that zombie related. Even if they are zombie related, it's still lame...

Seriously. I know the books sell well, but does everything need to get slapped with a Zombie cover now adays. I'm honestly both surprised and relieved that the X-Books aren't dripping with the damn things.

This is getting retarded now. If this story has nothing to do with the Marvel Zombies then it shouldn't have Zombies on the cover at all. I'm super pissed because I bought that stupid Marvel Zombies handbook garbage last week. I fell for it hook line and sinker and I can't get my 3.99 back. Marvel really knows how to water stuff down. Hey jerks, remember Venom?!?!

That would be cool. I love the zombie covers. Covers today dont have anything to do with what goes on in the books anyway all the time so I dont see how the zombie books hurts.

Having people on the covers look like Zombies is one thing...

Having a cover with the MARVEL ZOMBIES on it, which could easily mislead the buyer into thinking that the story has to do with them is another.
