I have to pull out of the competition

Hey guys, sorry to inform you all that I have to pull out of the competition. Its for good reasons though, I have just become ineligible as I have just today signed a professional comic book contract which will run for a full year.
Thank you everybody for your support and for those who included me into their top ten. I'm really curious to see if I would have made it to the final ten but I feel its better to say it now so my entry doesn't interfere with the whole process.
Have no doubt that I will be tuned to the whole competition, I think it is really fantastic and the standard is really great.

Nah, I did it the old fashioned way and emailed them. It was the blog page I set up for here though that they saw. I suppose you could say that the only reason I set up the blog was for the competition and having it prompted me to to apply

Wow, thanks for all the kind words guys. As much as I had been looking forward to finally getting a contract its just funny how it came a few days before the finalist of this were announced so it was kind of a double edged sword, all be it blunt at one side.

man, this just goes to show how good this year's contestants are. the finalists haven't even been selected and somebody already got work. this is so wicked.
