View Full Version : Can someone show me a scan of a skyfather blowing up a galaxy?

I've been hearing about this for a while. So I want to see it with me own eyes. Last time I've seen a scan of someone who alledgedly destroyed a galaxy, it turned out to be a solar system, and a small one at that. So I'm not doubting, I just want to see it for myself.

Yeah I too am wondering about this.

The Skyfather in question is Odin...but it sounds like an exaggeration to me. The sheer thought of anyone being able to destroy a galaxy is just mind-boggling...even in comics. I always thought of it as along the lines of the Sentry and his supposed power of 'a million exploding suns' or something like that.

So yeah, if someone has a scan of Odin blowing up a galaxy, then let's see it.

okay now I'm curious. I just can't imagine the skyfather even being able to destroy a galaxy. So is there any scans of the skyfather destroying a galaxy?

Didnt Surtur destroy a Galaxy while he forged his Twilight Sword?
And IIRC the Odin thing was as he fought Seth, no?

People tend to get star systems confused with galaxies. There were two occasions I can remember where people were claiming a character destroyed a galaxy. Then I saw the scans provided by other people and both of them turned out to be star systems.

In the old Epic Illustrated series the Dreadstar story had Vanth using some doomsday weapon that destroyed the entire Milky Way Galaxy to stop some threat from moving out of it into the rest of the Universe.

Could'nt Korvac, Owen Reese, or any of the other "Cosmic Cube" beings destroy a galaxy?

Here are some various Odin feats. I believe Galactus and Mephisto also destroyed galaxies in their fight.
