Sentry vs Thor ?

I would like to get your take on this. Who would win?

Thor,the only reason why people are reading the comic is to see Thor put the Sentry in his place.

This really belongs on the Rumbles Board, and will probably get booted there. And this debate is highly heated, almost as bad as Thor vs. Superman, so this should be fun :D.

That said, Thor all the way. I know the Sentry has been said to have done all this cool stuff, but Thor also has an unbelievable list of feats which we have actually seen on panel. Oh, and the Sentry beating Terrax? Thor KILLED him. Thor wins, then tosses him into the Sun for kicks.

Being a god doesn't innately make you unbeatable. In a lot of ways, god just means really old and powerful... which certainly has it's advantages. But the fact is mortals get the better of gods in fiction all the time.

That said, it's tough to really say who would win since we haven't really gotten a good look at Sentry's potential. He's been called the most powerful hero on earth enough times to make me wonder if he at least potentially isn't more powerful than Thor. But Sentry is also a nutcase. Thor is an experienced skilled fighter.

I'll tentatively say Thor would have the edge, though that's by no means a certainty. Sentry is too powerful while still being too much of a question mark for me decisively say Thor would win.

As far as the whole Superman, Sentry and Thor thing goes......

depending on the situation it could go either way each time

although I personaly like superman and thor over sentry any day

But obviosly my favorite would be Thor, his hammer's powers are the biggest advantage over them.

Forget who WOULD win. Forget even who Marvel would MAKE win (probably that lame ass Sentry). We all know that the fans would WANT Thor to win. And Marvel might let him in HIS title, but would balk at cutting down their shiny toy Sentry in any battle outside of Thor's book.
