Although the Wedding Special is one of those 'I hate comics' moments for me, the sad thing is there was plenty to love there. Amanda Connor's art, especially with Ollie begging for sex, and Dinah drawing her line was precious. But really, the scene with Deathstroke and Sivana discussing attacking the wedding was hilarious. Yep, they KNEW it wouldn't work, but dammit, they're villians and they have to give it the ol' college try.

for as much as I hate what I've heard about the wedding special a buddy e-mailed me the spread from the issue and......JACK KNIGHT!

what I wouldn't have given to see Stargirl pass him the rod and to see him kick a little booty for old time sake......see that Judd....you missed an opportunity to actually write starman......but stil...just seeing Jack is awesome......even if it is in a book that I don't want to buy.......

I liked Hulk having people come forward and call the Illuminati out. Hulk basically shows them that they are hypocrites for shooting him into space after the things they have done lately.

And then to up the torture route, he makes them relive some of his experiences on Sakaar. Seeing them fight a monster, and then fight each other...

It's chilling...

I liked that one as well, made me laugh......Especially with the expressions on their faces (Piper with a look of delight, Trickster with a look of mild disgust).

I was very surprised by this issue of Countdown, I was planning on taking the title off my pull-list, but the enjoyability of this week's issue pulled me back in!
