So, LIBERTY COMICS #1, the brand new anthology book from Heroic Publishing, has arrived and is available for sale at comic shops everywhere and most likely online somewhere. Why should you care?

For one, its a pretty damn good comic. Its 42 pages and 4 stories, two of which feature a fun 1940s-era heroine named Liberty Girl. For another, my own Liberty Girl story, set in 1942, will be featured in two parts in LIBERTY COMICS #3 and #4, in 2008.

Here's what I'm requesting: please buy LC #3 and 4. #3 should be in next month's solicitations, due for January release (please, God), and #4 should be about 3 months after that (the book is supposed to be quarterly. What I'm also suggesting/requesting is that you check out LIBERTY COMICS #1 and #2 to get, well, "acclimated" to the Heroic world and its characters, and especially Liberty Girl. Again, she's a pretty cool character and fans of the Golden Age of comics should appreciate her even more.

Any questions -- let me know! And thanks in advance if you take the plunge! I'll expect reviews of my story!

Jim!
