Yeah, I just downloaded it from IGN. It looks pretty awesome. And it is going to have a ton of characters from the previous games including Eva ("Call me Big Mama") from Snake Eater.

I recently finished The Twin Snakes on the Gamecube. Now I'm going to have to go back and replay MGS2 and MGS3 as well as Portable Ops to try and get back up to speed on the story (or what I can try to figure out of the story) before this comes out. I have a few months, though.

MGS4 is really shaping up to dethrone MGS3 as the best game ever.

This trailer wasn't as good as some of the past ones, especially the near-perfect one at this years E3, but the sheer amount of information and cameos still makes this one joy-gasm worthy

I wonder if the identity of Sunny's father will play a role. And since most likely this is the last MGS game, it's prophecy-fulfilling time.

You know, how is Screaming Mantis carrying Mantis and Sorrow puppets? The new codenames are a mix of emotions (MGS3) and animals (MGS). Just who is that woman? Liquid knows about Mantis, but The Sorrow? That puppet looks just as he looked as a ghost (the raincoat), which presumably never showed himself to many, including Big Boss. Unless he was like that alive, but I doubt it. It's symbolic.

If I remember correctly they did show an old photo in a flashback talking about when The Boss had to kill Sorrow and he did look like like he did in the 'fight' with Big Boss, just less....dead. Plus, his powers of manipulation over emotions and physic abilities where documented, it's not too far of a stretch for Liquid to know.

I vaguely remember the (artwork sketch) depiction of The Sorrow when The Boss reminisces, but I don't remember if he regularly wore a raincoat. Since the puppet is wearing it, that's the detail that caught my eye. But in time all will be answered, I'm sure of it.

Who? The one talking at the beginning was Naomi, while 'Big Mama' is actually Eva from MGS3, only a lot older.
