Need some help finding a series

Ok, sorry to be vague, but I cant find the thread in the 5 pages heres. There was a series that got an interview that caught my eye. I kinda forgot about it (wasnt that long ago though, maybe a month?) and now for the LIFE of me I cant remember the title or the company.

The basic description is, that it had a Superman-esque character and it was about how he failed to stop some sort of world war or armaggedon.

Any help would be great.

Are you sure it wasnt Justice? Check out issue one where superman fails to save the world from disaster... Its art is by alex ross, and the whole 12 issue series is an awesome read

Nope, I'm afraid thats not it. Thanks anyways ;)

And yea, it definetly wasnt Justice. It wasnt actually Superman, there was in interview about it on CBR here and on the thread for it, most of the posters were discussing how the main character was basically a Superman clone. It was definetly an indy book and had a darker tone :(

Sounds a little like Magnitude, but I don't remember seeing an interview for it
