This looks like a brilliant month all round. The Cap, A: TI, New Avengers, Iron Man and Spidey solicits particularly all look even BETTER than usual this month. The lack of FF is a bit odd, and the continued delays of Mighty Avengers and Thunderbolts continue to be annoying. The only solicit there I['m at all disappointed with is the Thor one, with it's typical generic cover and typical generic solicit.

What if civil war looks sweet. Great premise and the two least biased writers of the crossover.

I see that Guice is drawing another issue of Iron-Man. I like the nod to Romita Jr. and Layton on the cover.
Great Epting cover, as usual.
Ultimates 3 is only 5 issues? Joe Mad still brings it.
Thor #6 looks nice.
Looking forward to the new Slott/McNiven Spidey issues, though I'm not blown away by either of those covers.
That Civil War Chronicles covers by Michael Turner (featuring Thot) is exactly why I think he's one of the best, but his lack of "great" covers and lack of interiors has dropped him down my list.
Slott's doing a 4 parter and Casselli is getting to do his own covers on the Initiative. That's what I'm talking about!
Damn... Mike Perkins draws a helluva cover, himself. He does great work on Cap, and I'm glad he gets to strut his stuff elsewhere, especially his covers.
Paul Gulacy draws a great Doctor Doom. He's an under-rated artist who's been around forever. Would be great on a new Deathlok mini series!
Exiles is getting cancelled and started with a new #1? I'm okay with that, and I hope they artist and Claremont take that concept to the next level.
Byrne's final FF Visionaries comes out!!!

Byrne's final FF Visionaries comes out!!!
I was beginning to wonder at what number the last Byrne Visionaries was going to end with because it's a really long run.

Seeing another PAD Hulk visionaries is exciting too. I can't believe they're actually getting to the Kweon\Frank runs.... Those are my favorite Hulk stories ever, and I don't think they've ever been traded before!

Captain America #33 - Promises to be great, as usual.
Uncanny X-Men #493
X-Factor #26
New X-Men #42
X-Men #206 - X-23 vs. Lady Deathstrike: cat fight!
X-Men: Emperor Vulcan - Polaris leads the Starjammers and the Imperial Guard? Awesome.
Astonishing X-Men - Does anyone (1) believe this will come out in December (2) care anymore?
Thor #6 - I'm kind of weighing whether I want to continue with this title.
Ms. Marvel - Don't worry, Carol. Monster Island is actually a peninsula.
Mighty Avengers #7 - the symbiote tie-in in New Avengers will be over before the story even starts.
What If? Civil War - Ed Brubaker? Excellent. He should have done the real deal.
What If? Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire - Odd choice (last year's was a Vulcan story too). I enjoy Yost's work, so I might get it.

Looking forward to Civil War What If?'s. MAJORLY unimpressed by Mighty Avengers delays, especially considering how tied in it is it to the larger Marvel continuity/New Avengers story line. Cho's art isnt worth the wait.

What I don't get is why #8 isn't solicited for December since Mark Bagley is drawing the Venom Virus arc.

Because Cho is delayed into November, and #7, originally solicited for November and drawn by Bagley, is moved into December.
