Somehow I fear that if the citizens of the United Kindom had to cope with the knowledge that we would never see her arse on our TV screens again, there would be a national day of mourning...:(

I don't think we're ever gonna see Sex Kylie again. Not after cancer.:(

What is everyone's opinion of Dave and Paty Cockrum having a role in eXiles? I give Chris Claremont credit for wanting to pay tribute to his friend and collaborator, but the roles the Cockrums play seems out-of-left-field to me.

If he wanted to reference his friend he could have used the time broker but with an updated appearance ... as it is it's like trying to stuff a circle into a rectangular inset. IT DO NOT WORK.

Wait, are they coming back? I thought it was a one time tribute. As a tribute it's fine, but to make it a part of the book seems odd.

They are supposed to be some kind of generic powerful entity or whatever, and Claremont decided they should look like the Cockrums, that's all.

I thought that was pretty obvious from the start.

And why it doesn't work?

This is similar to the way that the head of the Time Variance Authority (TVA for short) looks like the late Mark Gruenwald.

Alright, credit where its due. This is a tasteful tribute by CC to a fallen colleague, and I salute him for doing it.

Yeah, it's cool that he thought so much about Dave to include him in his current work. Say what you want about the work itself, but for CC to do this indicates how highly he regarded his late friend.

Can't go wrong with that, really.
