Want to work for CBR and get paid for it? Then read on.
CBR is looking for a hard core fan of Marvel's Merry Mutants to write a series of articles. The candidate needs to possess extensive knowledge of current mutant happenings, characters and history of the various x-books. The candidate also needs to be a proficient writer who can work on assignments under deadline. Work would begin immediately and would consist of about 10-15 articles over a three month period.
If you're interested in learning more about the assignment and would like to throw your name into the mix, please send and e-mail along with writing samples to jonah@comicbookresources.com with the subject line "X-Writer Wanted."

DDM would be a perfect choice. Since he's pretty much a walking Encyclopedia-X.

As far as CC is concerned, don't know much about the rest.
Does it include Dazzler? Ask NH, bitch would take it in a second.

You'd have to make sure though DDM doesn't include his bias towards today's comics. Fair and balanced.

yep, it would work unless opinions are needed, which I don't think would be the case.

I MIGHT APPLY but I don't know if I can legally or whatever. Working papers and whatnot.
NOVAYA FTW 4REALZ. I know he's capable of toning it down, too.

I'd miss spell a lotta crap , not give a damn and just drive everyone crazy.
Hmmm maybe I should do this....
No SUPERE with power is a corrupted person. Power would corrupt me and I'd hate myself. Even though I could use my CBR prowess to crush those pitiful fools who stand against me.
But no.... no I'd hate myself. I'd recommend someone like Beast for it. Guy is level headed and advertises the latest Marvel books and X-ones.

I thoink they want informative articles. Just telling stuff what happened. If opinion is required, neither DDM or Novaya wouild work well, despite whoever any of you likes more.

This is more than Marvel demands from anyone who wants to write an X-book :D

UAG should apply. Her articles would be long and detailed, and we can get awesome previews at the same time.

I'D APPLY if I didn't have difficulty typing a paragraph without an 'LOL'.
It seems fun though. I wonder what specifically it would cover.

DDM would be perfect for this. Him or Beast. They know enough or get access to enough to make it work with accustomed ease.

But the writer would have to be unbiased, and I have to say that both of those posters have remarkably biased pov's. Beast, not quite as much as DDM, but I can just imagine DDM calling a writer a hack right to the writer's 'face'.

He knows what he has to do if he was given the position. You or I can sense bias in opinions. I still think he can do it with ease.

I'd toy with it but am off travelling in 6 weeks which kinda ruins the timing. Plus, my knowledge of early X-men probably isn't up to it.
Dagger, you should do it bud - or write it in a queer eye for a straight guy comedy team up with Brian M!

I'd go for this but I have a big enough problem with remembering the day/time it is, I shudder to think what I'd be like working under deadlines in another timezone.
