Tan is really bad at covers IMO a lot of the time he crams it all awkwardly, but that cover is pretty sweet.
I totally agree. The cover to Vulcan #1 is horrible, and that one cover he did for Uncanny where the team ar facing toward Korvus and his big ass sword is right infront of the "camera" is absolutely ROTTEN.
What.... Are you hepped up on goof balls or something? Tan's work is amazing.
He's amazingly inconsistant and amazingly bad at proportions. Some of his panels are great, like that one shot of Warpath right at the beginning of "Rise and Fall" but others fall flat and most of his covers are ugly and/or underwhelming.
The preview art of Messiah, featuring Archangel, Wolverine etc looks pretty sweet so far though. Let's hope Laroccas 5 issue fill in has given Tan ample time to produce his best possible work.

I'm glad Rachel is finally going after those responsible for the Greys' death sentence.
The whole issue sounds fantastic, with Lorna leading the Starjammers and the Imperial Guard, Alex & Vulcan together and Rachel going crazy. But I hope they aren't all separated for the whole issue and doing their own things. Hopefully Alex or Lorna are there to talk Rachel down.
The first issue was entirely boring. I'd never have believed it was Yost. But then They're my 3 least favourite X-Men...
