View Full Version : OT: Samurai Jack- Where's the ending?!

one of my FAVORITE shows was Samurai Jack. however, even though it ran for 4 seasons, THERE WAS NEVER A REAL ENDING TO IT! No final battle, no resolution, NO NOTHING! And, now that Mako, the actor who voice main baddie Aku, died last year, any hope for AT LEAST A FINAL TV MOVIE/FINALIE is DEAD, TOO! unless someone here wants to TRY and end the series FOR REAL (hey, Tad, wanna take this series for a spin?), i fear that this show may never get the ending fans have hoped for. DAMN U, GENDY TARAVOSKY FOR DITCHING A VERY WELL WRITTEN, VERY WELL-DONE SHOW FOR A STAR WARS MINI-SERIES, AND TWO MOVIES THAT ARE PROBABLY NEVER GONNA GET MADE!!!!!!!! WE WANT A SAMURAI JACK FINALIE, ASAP BEFORE EVERYONE 4GETS ABOUT IT!!!!!!:mad: :mad: :evilangry

Yeah, SJ was clearly leaps and bounds above evertything else, in my opinion. And it's a shame it was cancelled when it was.

yeah. hey, Tad! don't know what YOU'RE working on, lately, but maybe u wanna try and make ur OWN ending to this show, with Taravosky's help? if u do, many fans of ur work and SJ will be in ur debt FOREVER! what do u say?

they announced that like.....YEARS AGO!!! THAT's never coming out! what i want is a REAL ending to the TV show. if anyone wants to ask Tad if he's interested in talking to GT about this, try pming him!

No, they announced it about a month or two ago. A new company set up by the guy that used to be the president of Spumco (not John K) is gonna make it straight to DVD. And Genndy is gonna write and direct it.

Wooooot! Between that news and upcoming new Futurama material, the Animation Gods are smiling down upon me! :D

Mako's voice would be awfully hard to imitate. (R.I.P.)

I would expect that they would mix up Aku a bit to compensate for Mako's death. I loved that man's voice, though.
