View Full Version : The solution for the X-men

You know how the X-Men are always looking for a safe place to live that the government or some other flunky mutant hating group won't attack. Well I think that I have the solution.
It's time for the X-Men to move to Asgard. Yup that's right Thor brought back Asgard and there's nobody else living there except Heimdell so why not invite the X-people to live there? I mean no idiot in their right mind would try to pick a fight with Thor now. Plus if any sentinels or whatever show up Thor would just lay a beat down on them that they'd never survive. Plus I'm sure that after they explained their plight to Thor he'd let them stay there.
So what does everyone think?

Heck, why not.
But you know the gov't and those flunky villains will still find them.

Yeah lets hope they are stupid enough to pick a fight with Thor. That would be a quick solution to that problem.

Actually, the X-Men in a fight with Thor and the Asgardians would be exciting to see.

Yep.
But have ALL X-men there wouldn't be fun. But have a few or a team there wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. Plus, if it is the AXM team, they can go into missions and let Thor be the babysitter of the students.

Thor as a babysitter. That I'd like to see!
X-Men versus the Inhumans I've always wanted to see, too. Both are outcast teams with weird members, I think it would be exciting to see the 2 exotic teams go head-to-head.

Yeah the New X-Men should be pretty safe there with all the Asgardians around to protect them. I think one thing is for sure, the friends of humanity couldn't hit a bus with a rocket if they were all in Asgard. That's for dang sure.

Awesome idea. Then Storm could marry Thor (I've always thought they'd make a great couple) and they can rule as God and Goddess. I'm pretty sure marriages on Midgard don't hold any weight in Asgard, so there should be no problem!

The original X-factor worked with the Inhumans against Apocalypse.
But if they ever went fought, i imagine it would be something like:
Cyclops: X-men, attack! *blasts at Gorgon* Take down Lockjaw so they can't escape.
Wolverine: I'm on it, bub! *snikt*
Emma: Hello, Crystal. How's the biggest whore on the galaxy going? *punches her at diamond form*
Crystal: *bleeding* You seem to be horrible as usual. *Looks at Black Bolt* Bye.
Black Bolt: *whispers*
And fight is over...

A little bit O/T, but I wonder if we'll see Dani Moonstar visiting Nebrasgard in the future?

... because Xavier has taken control of Black Bolt's mind. ;)

It does; if everyone that thought the number of X-titles should be reduced simply only bought the number of titles they want of the market and leave the rest of us alone, the world would be a better place:)

its not that i think i should only have to buy so many issues a month (because i don't buy things i dont like anyway, its not as if i follow exiles, new ex, new xmen, wolverine, origins, etc). so this isn't coming from some character obsessed completist.
the rest of you should lose all this clusterfuck of a franchise and be forced to follow only a few titles like the rest of us!
2 team books of xmen, where one takes place at the mansion/school, and one offbrand team book a la xfactor. that's all we need.

They'd live there, but still do business in the 616 New York area?

They'd live there, but still do business in the 616 New York area?I'm sure that with the help of Forge (or someone similar), they could make a teleportation system much like what the Ultimate X-Men use currently.

She'd definitely make sense as a supporting character in the book. Hell, she could even operate somewhat as SHIELD's liason to the new Asgard.

What would be even cuter would to see the Runaways run there for an issue. Molly could have some real cute interactions with Thor.

Yes, he did and it was a most satisfying beat down at that. I think the last time the X-Men were that embarassed was when Spider-Man put the smackdown on some of them in Secret Wars.

So what's so humiliating about the fight with Hulk to the X-Men? The way Hulk is being written right now he's nearly omnipotent and is beating up everyone.

Yeah, I can see Loki trying to use Iceman as a pawn, and amp up his powers again... Then he'd be the new Y'mir, and rule his very own ice kingdom. :D
...I'm cool with that.

I'd rather see Loki make good on his promise to have Storm someday. I freaking LOVED the Asgardian Wars.
