I thought this was an alright issue.

I liked that even Colton didn't know about Agent Delta. However Hawk did, and has never mentioned it before? I guess I'll wait to see where this goes & how it's handled before I start stating my disapproval.

Watching Shipwreck & Cover Girl's dilemma was interesting. However, I thought CG escaped a bit too easily. Shipwreck picking up the scorpion was creative. I'm not familiar with who the bad guy is here.

Not a bad issue, but not the best either. I liked it more than I didn't, and the art was great.

edit: After thinking about it....I guess Hawk didn't have to say anything. After all, everyone thought the agent was dead. And it was uber-top secret.

I agree with you, Jay. the last two issues were better. but i love how WW3 is heating up and we also get Duke's personal history.

here is my review of the issue (http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?t=42984). I hope I can crank out the Debriefing by next week.

Skullbuster is a new character, based on an repainted Range Viper released a few years ago.

According to SPECIAL MISSIONS: THE ENEMY, Cobra Commander's promoting various Vipers into a new sub-division of agents. Skullbuster was one of them before he bailed on Cobra.

Loved it. The action wasn't anything to write home about but lots of great moments showing who these characters are when they're not toting guns. Devils Due really needs to hang onto their current writer, I haven't had this much fun reading a Joe book since the early 80's.
