I'll pick it up only because it's Wolfman--but to be perfectly honest, the new Vigilante has come across as incredibly boring in his crossover appearance...

This intrigues me a little, but I could do without another event that will "send ripples across the DC universe," so I probably won't bother with it.

Much as I love Wolfman, I I hate the character. I might flip though the first issue to see if he does anything truly fantastic, but I doubt I'll be getting it regularly.

People, people, people ! This is Marv Wolfman we're talking about here ! I'm definitely on board.
I'm hoping he kind of picks up the same idea that previous Stormwatch writer Micah Wright was going to explore, and that was a Vigilante that hunts the "untouchable" white collar criminals i.e. Enron, Worldcomm, etc. Maybe Marv will include that in his version. I think it would be great !

It sounds like a tough sell.

I'm not really impressed with the character in Nightwing's book, so I'll probably have to give this one a pass. I wish he were staying on Nightwing.

So there is a new Vigilante? What happened to the female one from years ago?

I wasn't really that big a fan of Adrian Chase the first time around, and I'm less a fan of his successor. So I doubt I'll pick this up.
I do feel sorry for Marv, though. He was just starting to hit his groove on Nightwing when they yanked it out from underneath him. Making Vigilante a sales success will be much harder and if it doesn't sell, they'll probably blame him for it. Doesn't seem fair. :(

At one point, Wolfman was supposed to be writing a Raven mini. Have they said whether that's still an active project?

Yeah, making Vigilante a success would be pretty hard but then again, not impossible if Marv could flesh out new Vigilante in new and interesting ways. Create a gallery of significant quintessential villains, supporting roles and all...
Hmm...maybe he could write new Titans later and move those characters forward, with new developments, adventures, trials and all.

Bah - to the naysayers. I liked Vigilante in the 80's. I like Wolfman's writing. I'm already sold on this.:D
I really like Marv's work, but for the life of me I have never understood his love for this two-bit Punisher rip off.
It was a crappy book in the 80's and it will probably be a crappy book now.
He'd do far better to bring back Night Force instead.

I read somewhere in an interview that DC had asked him to bring back Vigilante.

Ehh, I'll check it out, but I agree with what's been said already, even if its good, I cant image this lasting for long. To quote a Cayman, it would be a pretty tough sale.
