Best/Worst TV/Film Robot.

In the vien of Best vampire and Best Serial Killer, let's discuss a more important choice... ROBOTS!!

What is a robot you say? Well, in the goal of this thread being open to interrepation, let's just say there's a robot continuitiy.

On one end is Bishop, from Alien. Not particuarly roboty, but it's fair to call him one.

On the other end is R2D2. He's like, extremly roboty.

I guess we could stretch to include Roy Batty from Blade Runner or HAL from 2001, but they seem both TOO human and TOO computer to count as Robots. I guess it's up to people.

This robot is IT as far as scary robots when I grew up. It was only later that I realized this robot has the mobility of Stephen Hawking and there was nothing to be worried about.

Yeah... even though they went against each other in an episode of Lost In Space. But they do have rather similar design elements. I could buy that B9 is the earlier model, and Robbie is the newer model of the same line. Funny considering Robbie came first, then B9.
