200 dollars is a steal. You should feel ethically disgusted with yourself for paying so little. The correct price ought to be one million gazillion trillion dollars. If you pay less, you will go to hell. But not before the rabid purple pus bunnies of doom nibble your genitals into mush. While singing a chorus of Spandau Ballet hits in unison, but slightly out of time and key with each other.

No, I'm not the seller. Whatever gave you that idea?

I've got to tell you that while the book technically is "worth" that amount, it also isn't one that is going to gain much more value anytime soon unless Sabretooth suddenly becomes the next Spider-Man.

Unless you are the worlds biggest Sabretooth fan, there are reprints out there that have the story at a much lower price that I would recommend that you look at instead.

I bought that issue for about $8 in VF at my local comic store about 8 years ago.

I recommend you buy it.

I can't even believe someone would pay $200 bucks for one book (even if its a 1st appearance of a key character). Damn... I am such a cheap skate , I'd be under bidding so low on E-Bay people would be laughing.

;)

I recommend you do not purchase that comic.

For $200, I can sell you a lovely bridge. Right in your own hometown.

E-mail me for details.

When you say hometown, do you mean where I'm from or where I live now? Because I'm not even sure what the nearest bridge is. But the Golden Gate Bridge would be great to own for $200. Why you'd make your money back in tolls in about 10 minutes!

No no.

The Sabretooth story that's worth the big bucks is Wolverine 55.

Dom only has Canadian bridges. Which are worth only 73% of an American bridge.

You should slab it first, it'll be "worth" more then.

Dude. Get in the 21st century. Canadian Bridges are worth more than American bridges but they give away the toll money because they're socialists.

That joke would have been funnier in 1993.

Let's pretend it's 1993 for Paul.

I thought my first post was the right combination of informative and witty to be helpful.

Then people said funny things I had to respond to.

I was in a newsagent once, when I was 12, making the hard decisions about which comics I'd spend my allowance on this week, as opposed to those that could wait till next week.
Some guy was also looking at the comics.
I picked up X-Men Unlimited #4, because it looked like a good read, and he told me that it was a waste of money, as it cost more than a normal comic, and I'd be better off buying Sabretooth Classic, because it was cheaper, and a number one, and I'd get a better return when it went up in value.
He also picked up an issue of x-men I'd wanted to read, the only copy they had, and said this had a good chance of going up in value as well, as it had the death of a character.
I nodded politely, waited for him to leave, and then picked up the X-men Unlimited, took it home and read it - quite enjoyed it, it revealed that Mystique was Nightcrawler's mum!!!
(I also ended up getting the Sabretooth issue, later on as it looked like a good read, and there wasn't anything else - a few weeks later I tracked down the X-men issue).

It taught me that speculater's were knobs because not only could he comprehend that I was 12, and just wanted to read a good story, but that they also pick up issue's you want to read, and then put them in bags.

As a side note, Sabretooth Classic never got a listing in price guides as it was a reprint series, with no new material, and X-Men Unlimited #4 apparently became worth $2 more because of the story content it contained.
If only I hadn't read mine like 200 times, and left it on my floor, I coulda been rich, I tells ya.

Don't worry guys, it's the hot asian chick he's grabbing his crank for, not the two guys wrestling.
