Which movies di you go see? Which ones rocked you to the core and which ones did not?

Rate this summer between a 1-5 with 5 being the highest.:)

EDIT: Darnit, I thought I put a poll on this sucker. Mods, if you would be so kind to put one on, I'd be very grateful.:)

When Do you say the Summer Starts? It depends on your definition. also might want to tell the mods which movies you want in the poll.

Movie Wise Since May I saw Midnight Showing of Spidey 3, plus again 3 weeks later

Hot Fuzz

FF2 Twice

HP5 Twice

Transformers 1 time

Skinwalkers 1 time

Wild Hogs 1 time

and a few others I cannot think of and out of those the only overrated piece of crap one up there was Hot Fuzz.

The Bourne Ultamatum
TRANSFORMERS
The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Live Free of Die Hard
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The Simpsons Movie
Shrek The Third
Other (Please Spcify):)

The ones in bold are the ones I saw and I also saw Knocked Up.

only movie I saw this year in theatres was Tranformers. I liked it. I can get everything else from the torrents if I want to see them. Nothing else was worth my time or money.

I give this summer a 4/5. I saw Spidey fight Venom, the new goblin, and the sand man, Bruce Willis Living free and dying hard, and giant robots fighting eachother with a chick in the background.:D

I'm not rating the summer as a whole because it's rather pointless (modern summer movies usually consist of remakes, sequels, and other fare that will be forgotten in decades to come).

"Rescue Dawn" was easily the best movie of the summer for me.

Spiderman 3: Good movie but nowhere as good as what came before. Still though I'd rank it the 3rd best comic book movie since the comic book movie revival this decade.

Pirates: Bad movie. Possibly sucked worse than Dead Mans Chest. Wouldn't have even bothered to see it if my son hadn't wanted to go. This franchise really should have quit at one.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Boring Surfer: Better than the first. Thats not saying much. Thats really not saying much as FFI is a movie that I thought utterly sucked.

Harry Potter: Better than I expected but very flawed in some areas where it could have been so much better with as little as 30 seconds here and there of more story.

Underdog (My daughter made me go. :o Actually it wasn't that bad for what it was and it was mercifully short)

Transformers - Great special effects. But I couldn't help but snicker at how dumb the concept is and thats from a guy who has no problem watching a guy with powers of a Spider.

Disturbia: I wouldn't have gone to see had it not been the 2nd movie in a double feature after Shrek (odd pairing BTW). It was okay for what it was.

I've yet to to see The Simpsons or Bourne both of which I want to.

I give this summer a 2..because Hot Fuzz and Ratatouille saved it from absolute crap like Spiderman 3 and Shrek 3, average crap like Transformers and Harry Potter, and slightly mediocre ones like POTC

Ratatouille and Hot Fuzz are bad movies? And Spiderman 3 and Transformers, great movies?

Oh well, to each their own I suppose

I absolutely depise how shitty CGI crap is compared to actual animation and good old disney movies like Aladdin, Robin Hood, Lion King/Mulan

The only good CGI movies(which is not animation its computer generation) have been Hoodwinked and Incredibles and thats counting all CGI movies.

Hot fuzz made me chuckle twice at most, I didn't even laugh once, was filled with corny ideas, badly acted villains and a poor plotline put there so they could have an excuse for making the movie. It was an utter joke compared to Shaun and they could have done so much better.

Transformers was a movie I thought would be utter garbage, because from what I saw before from Fox/Shia they were both below average, however they were both surprising superb in this movie and showed they really do have talent. Bay whose really only good contributions have been The Hitcher remake which killed the original and TCM 03) surprised me however with the direction this took and the way things went together I came out hugely surpised at how good it was compared to how bad it should have/could have been.

Spider-man 3 was awesome all around for many reasons even with its flaws.

.......the best part of this summer was the quikie mart-i-zations of the 711s. (better than the movie) other wize it was captacular ! all the sequels and remakes blew - xept bourne. other highlights - grindhouse , ratatooie , hot fuzz , knocked up , rescue dawn , super bad . but blockbuster wize a waste of time -
