after messiah complex the need for so many team books is going to change, and there's going to be some important core book that is focused on one person with a huge revolving cast. no book is getting unjustly cancelled, no one was fired, nothing untoward happened.

It seems to me this is the new "Emma Frost is siding with the Marauders". When it was obvious to everyone that Emma was on the cover of #200 on the Marauders side, meaning she was going to betray the X-men on a book she was never a part of, messing up with Whedon's story, and side with Scott's worse enemy in attacking the X-men, and i was pretty much the only one saying it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever, and look how it turned out...

he's going to the book he's planned that may take it's place. which isn't a solo book in the sense of some tangential miniseries, it's a core book.

well you can't say flagship........but it may very well be a flagship. it's still going to be the book that determines the franchise most, or is the most continuity related. marvel didn't suddenly look at carey's success and decide to get rid of him or the title. this has all been planned and carey is on board in a huge way.

i don't know about that, i don't think they considered that all fans would see a blonde in white and not realize who it was. the pose was everything, it really did not resemble emma at all.

because it's an oldschool mauraders lineup and they wanted to represent malice. it's all pretty clear.
