Would have preferred NIGHTWING but beggers can't be choosers. I dumped all of my ROBIN issues on eBay when Chuck bolted for Crossgen but I'm sure that I'll be giving this a flip test once it is released.

I also think that Scott Kolins back at DC is a good move as well. Hopefully, DC will throw him on a monthly book and then let him run wild - I have no issues seeing his art 12+ times a year!

While I still don't trust DC as a whole - everything is too convulted, and seems like at any moment the rug could be pulled out from under good books to force them to fall in line with the latest crossover - I agree things look better.
Waid on Flash, Dixon on Robin. Tomasai is the first writer linked to Nightwing (since Dixon) that I have liked, and I really enjoyed Milligan's first issue of Infinity Inc. And Metal Men is fun.
Of course those last two can't be selling well, can they?

That's good news and I'm sure will bring readers back.
Me? I'll stick to non-continuity stuff for now like the Kirby trades and the various mini's.

Things are getting better at DC?
Are they now?
Then why haven't i got a clue as to the mess that's been going on in Superman/Batman ( once, my favorite DC title ) these days?
And Countdown?
Well, at least they've still got the Sinestro Corps War to keep their hopes up.
It seems that the only stuff worth reading are the Vertigo titles and whatever Geoff Johns is doing.
That's "better"?

Things are getting better at DC?
sure. marginally.
All the things you listed sucked 6 months to a year ago. But SOME things are getting better. Isn't that better?
I don't think Augie (or I) said, "DC is back and great again!"
