So with everything ending except amazing what was everyone's favorite non Amazing Spider-Man book? I don't want to make a poll cause I am sure I will miss one. There are so many that could be named.
Personally I am not really even sure. I would say Spectacular because it lasted so long. Then again Web of... was always decent too. Lately I've been reading a bunch of the adjectiveless Spider-man in the Peter Parker days. I enjoys those pretty well. Webspinners was good, didn't really last. I used to love Sensational back when Ringo was on it, but again it didn't last very long. I am kinda torn I guess.
What do you guys think?

Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane is a fun out of continuity high school days Spidey book. Deals with my favourite part of Spider-Man, Peter Parker and his incredible supporting cast. Great book many people ignore or refuse to pick up because of the stereotype that it is a "girls" book or something.
Spider-Girl was another great book. Loved the more down to earth, happier future it depicted and how it built on many of the good parts of the Clone Saga, like Baby May and what have you. Not digging the current Amazing Spider-Girl for some reason, even with the same creative team. Something changed during the break for me and it lost that magic.

Any ongoing 616 comic feels like a core Spidey title to me.
Historically, Amazing was always the best. The best side title was Spectacular Spider-Man under Stern, Mantlo or David. Web of Spider-Man was pretty useless for almost the entire series. Ditto Spider-Man, at least until vol. 2 when Jenkins started.
I think the best ongoing series that's not Amazing is (or at least was) Ultimate Spider-Man. I'll admit to not having read enough Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane yet though. And what I have read makes it seem excellent.

Yea I couldn't figure out a better way to phrase the title.

Certain issues of Spider-Man's Tangled Web were sheer brilliance.

With a few hickups, Friendly Neighborhood has to rank. PAD did his best work in years. Again, admittedly there were a few lemon issues, but a lot of that had to do with Mr. David having to deal with "Marvel events".

I'm going with 'Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' as well. I just PAD's his stuff up.
While the first four issues indeed sucked(but it's not PAD's fault, because he HAD to work with such a shitty idea), the rest was great. Heck, I even enjoyed Ero's issues(though I would've liked to see her in 'costume' during her fight).

One of my Favorites aside from Amazing Spider-Man would be sensational Spider-Man vol.1
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was great also

Amazing Spider-Girl. In my opinion this series has had one of the best first years since I've been reading comics. Hobgoblin, Carnage, Black Tarantula along with great writing and artwork. It doesn't get better than that. Or will it? Only time can tell what the future holds for Mayday's second year in her new title.

I suppose Amazing SG counts because Peter Parker is still a cast member in it. It is indeed a great book--in many ways better than any SM title these days.

I really liked Marvel Knights: Spider-Man. I thought every issue of it was packed full of great art, great stories and great character interaction. It really lost something around the time it changed into Sensational Spider-Man...it was just never the same in my opinion. FNSM also rocked for the most part, especially once it got going and found it's feet.
And who could forget Kurt Busiek's awesome Untold Tales Of Spider-Man back in the 90's? That book was sorta like everything a Spider-Man comic should be...great storytelling, cool artwork, excellent use of the supporting cast & fiercely loyal to continuity. It was almost like the perfect comic book!

See I get the change in name, but it continued off of Spider-girl. I consider it more a volume 2 then a whole new series as you suggest. Great book though.

I just finished reading Sean McKeever's run on Spider-man Loves Mary Jane, and it was absoultly fantastic!! I'm picking up this guy's Teen Titans run next, and I don't really read much DC.
I enjoyed the 1st volume of Spectacular Spiderman the most, it had the most consistently entertaining stories outside of Amazing. Web of Spiderman I collected mostly for continuity, ditto for Adjectiveless Spiderman. I did enjoy Sensational Spiderman and Untold Tales of Spiderman. More recently both Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman and the 2nd volume Sensational Spiderman had the most enjoyable reads.

My favorite was always Spectacular. Both volumes. MK spider-man was really good, and the sensational run was also great!! I loved FNSM, but it was a little kidish, but besides that it was a good book.

I enjoyed Spectacular Spider-Man quite a bit. And I have a weakness for Ultimate Spider-Man.
