Okay there are 78 hot new shows coming out this year and I thought I'd touch on a couple of them.

I'm doing this by flipping through the tv guide so thats why the order.

Pushing Daisies Premieres Wednesday 10/3 at 8 oclock. The premis is this. A guy Ned(Lee Pace can bing the dead back to life with one touch. and send them back to the underworld with a second touch. But the second touch is permenant.

When he gets caught in the act by Emerson a private eye(Chi McBride) they strike a bargin. Bring murder victims back to life find out who killed them then send them back to the underworld and collect the reward.

All is well until his child hood crush Chuck(Anna Friel) turns up a victim. They've found their soul mates but they can't touch or she's dead.

Other stars include Olive (Kristen Chenowith) and Chuck's two aunts Swoozie Kurts and Ellen Greene.

Interestesting concept but the delivery might get annoying at times. it looks very cartoony see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qikoHqugOs

Dirty Sexy Money: Wednesday 9/26 at 10 oclock William Baldwin, Samaire Armstrong, Natalie Zea, Jill Clayburgh, Donald Sutherland, Glenn Fitzgerald, Seth Gable, Zoe McLellan and Peter Krause

Krause playe Nick George an idealistic lawyer who finds him self representing New York City's filthy rich , Darling Clan after his dad Dutch, who previously held the job dies in a plane crash He's dared to walk his fathers walk and thinks he can do it differently. I won't bore you with details of the whole family but if there is one reason to watch this show its peter krause as Nick George and Samaire Armstrong as she potrays a Paris Hilton esque Juliete Darling See the trailer here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHOPHSlkxzY

I'm Skipping Chuck, Private Practice, and K-Ville

Gossip Girl Wednesday 9/19 at 9 oclock
If you were to take the oc and move it to new york city and give the kids more money and bigger issues, you'd get gossip girl. based on cecily von ziegesar's best selling books, the drama offers a peek into the highschoolers privileged lives where back stabbing and burberry are always in style. the cast's Ed Westwick, Taylor Momsen, Penn Badgley, CHace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively have got plety of style too.

see trailer here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNIBHoKAtJw

yup thats veronica mars her self narrating the series

more to come

You know....I don't know what shows I'm gonna wanna watch this year.....

I want to give Reaper a try, cause I think Ray Wise will rock as the Devil, but I just can't stand the star of the show (how many TV shows is this charisma killer gonna get) and I don't like the fat guy from Invasion much either. But, it sounds like an interesting show

I want to try Pushing Daises as well, but it looks like it could get pretty full of itself really fast (Though Pee Wee Herman being it might help me watch it.)

I might watch Chuck, except nothing will take me away from Prison Break, especially with prospects of Michael and Mahone working together with T-Bag and Bellick to escape a rough ass Panamanian Prison.

I kind of want to watch Bionic Woman, except it looks a little to earnest, and not enough tounge in cheek.

That being said, I will watch the sure to be train wreck that is known as Caveman until the bloody end.

Of the pilots I've seen, I'll be giving Chuck, Reaper, Pushing Daisies, and if it ever comes out, Sarah Connor Chronicles a second chance. Although probably not in any way the TV channels will like, if you catch my drift.

On second thought....Pushing Daises looks awesome....if it was a two hour movie. Like great two hour movie. Don't know about a 22 episode TV show.

Pushing Daisies looks cute and campy, and it would be perfect if they could pair it with Ugly Betty on Thursdays. However, I wonder how long the whole can't touch her thing will last if the show stays on for multiple seasons. Seems like it would start to get annoying after a while. The 11th hour twist will probably be that he dies, they make him touch himself, he comes back to life, and suddenly he can touch her again...like a reboot.

Reaper looks interesting. I'm usually leery of shows on the CW though.

I watched the pilot ep of K'ville. It was a bit too formulaic cop show for my tastes. I like Anthony Anderson, so I might give it a few more episodes to form a full opinion (that is...if Fox doesn't pull it fast before it gets a chance to find its feet).

Journeyman sounds interesting to me. About a guy who can go back in time in his own life to help people. Described as Quantum Leap with a Lost mythology. On NBC after Heroes.

And of course there is Forever Knight. Or is it Angel? Forever Angel? Some show about a Vampire catching bad guys and helping the helpless. Oh yeah, Moonlight is what its called. ;) It may not be original but its got Vampires.

Reaper looks surprisingly interesting. I've only read a few blurbs about it previously, I didn't realize it was going to be a comedy, I figured it was another Supernatural.

Looks like a mixture of Dead Like Me and Brimstone.

More like Chuck with demons. Actually, exactly like Chuck with demons.

Or if you prefer, Clerks, but with demons. Or Buffy, with all the little whiny girl moments stripped out. If Buffy was about Xander, you'd have Reaper.
