Which of Star-Lord's "Dirty Half-Dozen" is your favorite?

I'm enjoying Rocket more than I thought I would and I was planning on enjoying him immensely. I'm not sure who comes after that. I'm not enjoying Quill nearly as much as I did in Annihilation.

I really do love the Rocket Raccoon. He's so cute and adorable and yet sassay and deadly. :D

I have to agree with Acro, I haven't been enjoying Peter as much as I did in the original Annihilation. I expected alot more.

Top Three for me:

1. Quill- I really enjoy the change in character and his interaction with his entire "team"
2. Rocket Raccoon- just funny as hell. his relationship with Groot was a hoot. love his speech bubble too.
3. Cap. Universe- his peculiar demeanor and rookie feel is cool, the Deathcry scene was just great.

Bug's my favorite. i like his look and attitude. he's like the "Nightcrawler" of the group. i guess Rocket Raccoon would be the "Wolverine," now that whats-her-face is fragged.

I'm actually going to go against the gain and say Mantis. I've always liked Mantis, and like that everyone thinks she's crazy. And the know-it-all attitube is a nice change of pace from everyone. Plus, she has the best costume. Mantis for me.

I'm loving all of them (except for Deathcry) but i voted for Cap. Universe because no one else had. But if i really had to choose... well, then it's a tie between Mantis and Rocket Raccoon.

I really like Deathcry She just wasn't portrayed as she had been in the past. She wasn't a wolverine clone like Griffen had suggested. She was actually a teen who was quiet unsure of herself. He he had used that angle she might still be around.

I hope Mantis continues to be explored and is protrayed better than she has been so far.

Rocket has no equal and nor will he ever (Howard the Duck is in a whole nother different league of awesomeness).

The thing about it is, even if they wanted to do more with him, what could they? He seems doomed for well intentioned obscurity until another rare book like this comes along once in awhile.

i think it's the excellent art that makes this group acceptable. i could easily have not liked this if it were drawn by someone else.

What's really funny to me is that Groot is the only character I didn't know and love before the series even started. All the rest would make my list of cool characters already.

Despite my avatar, I'm liking Bug the most. He seems to have taken the roll Quill did in ANNIHILATION, putting Starlord in the postion Nova had.

Starlord is still my favorite, but without Nova to bounce off of, he HAS become more the Nova of this mini. He's also receding into the background as the rest of the half-dozen step up. But I still love the character. And again, the artwork has been phenomenal. the Starlord flashback stuff was enchanting, drew me right in with its unique look.

As I was reading through the posts, i had a thought... wouldn't it be cool if the Capatain Universe mantle is passed to Rocket raccoon?

It is a shame Huntarr seems to have been forgotten every time Bug, Rann and Mari have returned. He was a great character.
