With the success of the 300 movie, wouldn't now be a great time to bring back the Acroyears from the Micronauts? Since Bug is being used in Conquest/Starlord, I think somewhere in the Conquest series would be a great place for one or more of them to appear.

I remember hearing that there were some licensing issues with the company that did the toys that limited what they could do, but they found a way around that for Rom and the Space Knights. Maybe they could be labeled the new Spartans and given a bit of costuming redesign.

Marvel only has the rights to the characters or properties not based on toys. That's why they can use the Spaceknights, but not Rom, and why they can only use Arcturus Rann if they never call him Space Glider.

So . . . that's why Bug can be in STAR-LORD, but Acroyear is out of bounds.

It would be pretty cool if this was a Microverse crossover considering that the first Annihilation was essentially a Negative Zone crossover.

When it was mentioned that someone else was behind Conquest, I thought of Acroyear and Baron Karza, but only because Bug was going to be in Starlord. But I knew big was created by Marvel, not the toy company. Acroyear and Karza - different story. So unless they sold the rights to Marvel again, these two are out of the question.

Maybe it's the Dire Wraiths, but weren't they created by the Rom toymakers? This would explain why they were not in Space Knights. It's gotta be someone we know.
