I have just recently read the four issues of Squadron Supreme: Hyperion vs Nighthawk. I liked Marc's way of portraying the same event but from opposing viewpoints. Basically, they are two teammates with different viewpoints towards politics.
Darfur's political violence and genocide is as realistic as an event that anyone can write about.
But what is classy is Guggenheim's intentions. He donated his writer's royalties to the relief efforts for Darfur. And I think it is his genuine concern spilled over to his work, and it shines. It's like he put his soul into the work. At the same time Paul Gulacy's art captures the authenticity that is in Darfur. At the same time he drew some breath-taking battle scenes.
Do you recommend this book ? What did you like about the story ?
