All the promotion of bringing that title back after all those year's just so that when issue #6 and the first story arc concludes it disappears for what is it now a good 6-8 months.

Does anyone know if the titles cancelled, in hiatus?

In haitus. Remember though that they're currently featuring in the First Born mini, and half the team is also taking part in that Pilot Season stunt. Top Cow are probably waiting to see how well they do, to figure if another relaunch is worth the trouble.

Personally, I think Cyberforce should be ditched and forgotten. They just don't fit in the Top Cow universe, which is geared towards supernatural and mystical characters and threats. Standard superheroics just don't fit in here.

Personally, I disagree. Looking at Top Cow's overall output, it's TCU titles can be divided into two categories - science fiction/superhero titles (Cyberforce, Strykeforce, Weapon Zero, Aphrodite X, Hunter-Killer) and supernatural/superhero titles (Witchblade, Darkness, Necromancer, Universe, Ascension). The great thing about Top Cow Universe is that both parts are equally valid. I think that this contrast holds plenty of storytelling potential that writers haven't done nearly enough to exploit.
