IMAGE COMICS
Brit #1, $2.99 - Interested to see how this turns out.

Fantastic Four #549 CWI, $2.99 - I like the FF now!

Is this all you are getting this week? By your standards, this must be a small week. For the longest time, you and Tracy were always neck and neck to see who got the most books per week. :D

Small week for me. Very small.
I can see that Previews is in the week's list, meaning that I need to submit August's order. :o
Wonder Woman #12--The first item in the list, and I don't really care. Bad sign.
Cable/Deadpool vol. 7: Separation Anxiety TP--Caught up in anticipation of this one.
Looking Glass Wars: Hatter M HC--Dying to read this one since I lost #2 after P read it.
Strangers in Paradise Book 3, Part 8 HC--The end. I'm both happy and sad. I plan on doing a bg read-through with this series.
Not on the Diamond list, but in my shipment
------------------------------------------
Albion TP--Back ordered item. The month this was originally solicited, I had to cut due to $$$.
Batman: Batman and Son HC--If I had known DC would drag their ass this much on this, I would have stuck with the issues.
Daredevil: Devil Inside & Out part 2 TP--Back ordered item. I was hoping Marvel was going to do oversized HCs, like Bendis's, but when volume three was solicited and still no hardcover...
Wait for Trade
--------------
Hellboy: Darkness Calls--Waiting hurts sometimes.
Usagi Yojimbo--I plan on catching up before X-mas.
Hellblazer--Need to read the first two trades by Mina.
Mice Templar--This might be the Oeming project that really hooks me.
True Story, Swear to God--Still want the final Image issues in a trade.
Avengers Initiative--Slott!
Fantastic Four #549--Loved the issues, but waiting is cheaper. :( On the plus side, I am soooo happy that Dwayne McDuffie is getting all this attention after all these years.

I went a little crazy last week and bought a bunch of stuff from instocktrades.com that arrived this week - an Ultimate Spider-Man HC, the 2 most recent Ex Machina trades and the first 2 DMZ trades. I'm really looking forward to reading DMZ.

Of this week's comics, I only purchased Usagi Yojimbo # 105 so far. These issues with Jei may bring back a lost reader or two.
Mice Templar # 1 will possibly get my money before too long. Maybe I'll get to see a little buzz on it first.

I'd love to get some of the Johnny DC books for my kids but I can't justify spending $2.99 on a book that I know they will pull apart in under 2 weeks. I've recently decided to wait for $0.25 book sales at my LCS to get them stuff to read. It's also fun finding some of the Star Comics stuff from the early 80s at my LCS that are still selling for cover price - $0.65 ~ $0.75! I picked them up Thundercats & Smurfs books a while ago that they have been enjoying.

Those are actually $2.25, but faced with a projected "lifetime" of 2 weeks, that'd probably still hurt... ^^;

Really? Then they are a much better bargain than Marvel's kids line - I think that those are $2.99.
