FELL questions

Recently i have started to make the transfer from DC/Marvel Books to more Image books, and while i was researching what ones would be good i came across Warren Ellis "FELL" and i picked up the first 5 issues what i could find at my local comic book store, and i was wondering when issue 9 is coming. out, seeing as #10 is coming out October 31st

FELL comes out when an issue is done. There is no set schedule. Warren seems to have a hard time writing each issue, due to it's rigid 9 panel grid and 16 page count.

Ben works on it as he gets script.

That's really about it, man. You gotta watch Warrens blog or the badsignal email thing he does and he'll notify you via either or both of those.

It's a great book though. I do wish it came out faster... but it's worth waiting for.

Oh ic ic , kinda like the stuff at dark horse...i figured that is what it was like but I'm confused I've look all over and as far as i can see there have only been 8 issues printed, but in october #10 goes on sale..so were is the lost issue nine coming out? lol anyone have information on that one?

Image Comics solicitations are weird like that. I think only the first few issues came out when they were supposed to.

I wouldn't count on #10 in October. I have no idea when #9 comes out. I could ask Ben how far along he is with #9, but that doesn't really mean anything. Ben will draw the pages he has script for, but I don't think he usually works from a full issue of script.

Ben is exactly half way done with #9. Like I said though, that doesn't mean much, as that's all the script he has and when he'll get the rest is on Warren.

Luckily for you though, you've still got 6-8 to read. Me? I just get to re read them until a new one comes out.

Also, there is a trade of 1-8 out now. You might even be able to find the lovely Hard Cover.

And hey, if you're new to Image comics stuff, check out Casanova! It's one of the best books I've ever read, and it's only $1.99 for 16 pages like FELL.

Well I'm not really getting into image comics because of the price, it just seems that there story's have i dunno substance where most, not all but most. marvel dc books are always about building up to something bigger and better, but i dunno, something about the image books is different just like the Darkhorse stuff.

It's not just about the cost, but I certainly don't mind a book that's a dollar cheaper.;)

I dunno, Casanova is more story in 16 pages than most comics give in 22 pages for a dollar less, and man, I've not read a book that is this much fun in... I dunno. Too long.

Cassanova is pretty damn sweet.

The hard cover was worth every penny.

First issue threw me a bit, but once you get the groove of it, it's great stuff.
