Johns is doing an excellent job, Green Lantern is one of the best titles I'm currently reading. The Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns special and the current 3 issue arc of the same name (GL #36-38) are great jumping on spots for someone interested in checking this out.

The current arc's very good; the "Secret Origins" arc preceding I thought dragged on way longer then it needed to.

Finally, Blackest Night is here! If the Sinestro War storyarc was a "slobbernocker", this definitely will cement Geoff's name as one of DC's premiere Green Lantern writers in DC history. And all it took was a minute detail in an Alan Moore written GL Annual issue. It's amazing what one can do with a minute obscure detail when one's creative juices are flowing. I hope Geoff doesn't leave the title until the series reaches over a hundred issues.

Here's a loving and exhaustive look at the series from the start till today... fifth in a series of blog posts on GL.

I also suggest who is behind Blackest Night:

And possibly who killed Martin Jordan:

Very interesting theory on the one behind the blackest night. I like it.
