What upcoming PS3 ttles are you excited about?

Heavenly Sword and FFXIII only come out next century, same for MGS3.
So I need someone to point a couple titles that would make them sell their girlfriends for a chance to play, preferably something out this year or the next.

I saw this one today. Get a ps3 for 350 and 5 free blu ray movies.

Makes me sorry I got it after the price drop but oh well. Was worth it for ninja gaiden sigma and be worth price alone when metal gear solid 4 comes out, plus all the other good ones coming out soon. Gonna be a expensive gaming year.

HDTV is not a necessity. It's just to make the graphics look more awsome. That's about it. And the sound effects too. Otherwise, you could still play with a regular tv as long as you can still plug the PS3 in.

Yeah, I forgot about Assassin's Creed also. It does look pretty awesome. And the more I see of Stranglehold, the more I like as well.

I didn't mention God of War 3 because it hasn't been announced yet, but that one will be absolutely amazing. I can't wait to get Chains of Olympus for the PSP.

You're right that it isn't a necessity, but when I bought my PS3 and fired up Resistance:FOM on my girlfriend's TV I thought it looked awesome. Then I took it home and connected my PS3 to my Bravia HD. The difference was staggering. I have to admit that once you play games in HD you won't want to go back. It's like the difference between dial-up and broadband.

Hey now! The bouncing booby game wasn't that terrible. When they released "Pong with Tits: Part 2" though, I was a little disappointed at the turn the franchise had taken.

Today at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany, Sony officially announced its multimedia plan for both the PSP and PS3. Collectively called PlayTV, the service will indeed imbue Sony's console with PVR and TV tuner functions, allowing users to record and store live television shows on the PS3's hard drive. The high-definition TV tuner will be two-tiered, allowing users to watch one show while recording another in resolution up to 1080p. Programs can then be transferred onto the PSP for viewing on the go, or viewed remotely via the PS3-to-PSP streaming functionality. PlayTV will also have a seven-day electronic program guide that can be navigated via the Sixaxis game controller.

While there's little doubt PlayTV will likely appeal to PlayStation owners worldwide, so far it has been announced only for five countries in Western Europe: France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and the UK. Sony has not yet announced any North American or Asian plans. Sony's Leipzig announcement also studiously avoided any mention of cost, raising the possibility that, like the PlayStation Network, PlayTV could be totally free of charge.

It's really good. I got it yesterday and had a blast playing it. I am looking forward to going home after work and playing it until the LSU vs Mississippi State game comes on.
