Hello all!
I'm doing a little research for a prospective project and was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to give a few answers?
My goal with this project is, of course, money! You see, i work at a print shop in my little town. It's the best in the town and we have recently acquired a new press that can handle the large scale printing of a comic book. Being an employee it would be easy to get some discounted printing.
So here's what i'm looking into:
How many creators would be willing to sign on to a project with the goal of being coming a publishing company? The majority of the sales would be done online. Rates are up in the air...It would most likely be a percentage in the begining to be fair, but may later on turn into a fixed rate.
How many people would be willing to place orders for comics written by your fellow CBR members? Also, how many people do you know that would be willing to purchase the same books?
I thank you for your time. This is strictly research at this moment. I had this idea a few days ago and have been toying with it since.
