Okay, I'm covering this topic on two fronts. Firstly, the video about quite possibly the only car in the world that could be destroyed by a toddler, and lastly, backseat drivers.

Since, ya know, I'm good with the multitasking and what nots.

Hopefully the last we see of the Chery Amulet. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7rrk3ZjN-I)

Chrysler motors is now under the steady hand of disgraced former Home Depot CEO Robert "Big Bob" Nardelli. What does this have to do with unsafe Chinese cars?

Last month Chrysler struck a deal with the manufacturer of the Chery Amulet, shown in the above crash test video. In accordance with the deal, Chery would manufacture small cars for import into the US.

According to Autoblog, "The dummy in the Amulet had to be removed in pieces, and the magazine, AvtoRevu, is now calling for the car to be pulled from the market."

Now if only they could manage to reposition the pedals and steering wheel to the backseat they'd have a completely not-so-fatal automobile.

And don't you hate it when people offer you driving advice. Sure, a route suggestion would quite possibly be appreciated. But critiquing my driving technique when I have been in, count em, zero/nil/nada/empty-taco-shell (reported) car accidents/mishaps and they're in the backseat because they've had their driver's license suspended makes this less amusing and more "Hey, you're lucky we're driving a Chery Amulet, and you'll be the only one who survives" irritating.
