Dont have a friggin 360 so I can't even play the demo. I haven't been dying for a game this bad since Half-Life 2.

Yeah, it's flipping good. The graphics are amazing, I couldn't tell the cinematics from the gameplay at first!

It's shaping up to be a very witty, unique, and creative game.

bioshock is finally here! just one more day. i am so freakin pumped. this game is gonna own...i was excited on my own...but the demo plus these reviews have me tingling. look at this:

I picked up BioShock for the PC yesterday after having watched the dev news for a while and debating whether I had the money for it.

But I decided I did somehow...

I think its going to be worthy of the game of the year's being thrown around. Though I need to figure out how to turn down the setting so it keeps looking good but not slowing down when it gets to a fight (makes it very annoying to use a gun).

Otherwise, its really fun though I"m not through the first boss yet. I'm also still liking all the Ayn Rand criticisms considering how much my grandfather tried to foist her work on me growing up.

I also like the fact the advertising isn't an absurd parody of the period. Its more authentic feeling than drawing your attention to it all the time.

Really? I don't find the enemies annoying at all. I think they are great and fit in with the environment so well. I am loving this, gotta be GOTY.

Well, now that I'm even further into the game, I have to admit that I may have been premature in saying that. In the later levels, the enemies start to do some crazy stuff that I never really expect.

I think I'm about halfway through (I just got to the "shocking twist" portion of the plot), and it's definitely a great game. I usually hate FPS games (with rare exceptions), but this one's got me fully engaged. It plays like a horror-action novel come to life.

I think only my most-anticipated game of the year (Mass Effect) will have a chance of being more enjoyable (to me at least).

But yeah, wow, I really wasn't expecting such a great game. Definitely deserves all of the praise.

I kind of wanted to replay it for the other ending, but the game belonged to my friend and he was getting all crazy for it like a crack addict.

But I'm not willing to buy into Xbox just for this game, plus the reviews say that the PC interface and graphics are better. But the PC specs are hideous. 1 GB of RAM? 8 GB of free space on my computer? Maybe in 3 years I will get around to buying a computer that can handle this game.

So I know this thread has been dead for some time but I just recently got this game. All I have to say is wow. It has been a long time since I enjoyed a game this much.

Great first person shooter with tons of different elements. I would love to have seen a multi-player of some sort. However, the story was phenomenal.

I wish I'd played this game sooner. I was a little apprehensive after playing the demo. Man does it not do this game justice.

If you have not played this game yet get it. I found a used copy for 35 bucks. I'm sure you can find better. I think a new copy on Amazon was fairly cheap. Get this game.
