Fights I'd Really Like to See...

For some reason, I was just thinking to myself the other day, "Man, I'd really like to see Thor kick the Sentry's butt." And then I realized that I have a really viceral need to see Thor kicking the Sentry's butt, and I'll probably bring it up from now on whenever Thor or the Sentry is mentioned.

I just think it'd be a heck of a fight. I will totally mark out when the Sentry throws Thor into the sun, and Thor just flys back with a big ol' chunk of sun and bashes the Sentry over the noggin with it. That would just make my year. Hell, decompress it out to six issues. I'll buy six issues of Thor and Sentry beating the snot out of each other AND I'll buy the trade.

This isn't a "rumbles" thread. I'm not interested in who's more powerful or who can or did kick who's ass, or why the Black Panther can't possibly ever put a sleeper hold on the Silver Surfer (well, he can't. But that's a topic for not-this-thread).

I'm interested in the questions:

What fights haven't we seen yet that we need to see?

Who would you like to see beating the living snot out of each other?

What re-matches need to be... re-matched? (for lack of a better word)

When you get right down to it, comics is all about the violence, folks. What do you want to see?

Because Sentry is uber powerful yet relatively new, there are a lot of fights from him I'd like to see.

They fought in Marvel vs DC , they fought briefly in the Batman/Captain America crossover by John Byrne and as you mentioned , the posing in JLA/Avengers.

looking forward to the upcoming sentry/hulk fight, wonder what the premise is going to be? i honestly hope there's a reason behind him skulking around his house while watching his friends get the snot beat out of him, some kind of stunning revelation. this would be the highlight of wwh for me if hulk did something drastic, like broke sentry's back bane-style..

It's funny how writers always use the fact that Kingpin is faster than people anticipate as one of the reasons he does so well against heroes. If heroes just went around telling other heroes Kingpin is fast, they wouldn't have this problem.

Which isn't to say that Kingpin isn't good... I recall the Daredevil/Batman crossover where Bats and Kingpin fought had Bats outright admitting he probably couldn't take Kingpin hand to hand. Granted it's a cross over so it's not cannon, but it shows how good Kingpin is.

We just got a small taste of this fight, but anyone who picked up Ghost Rider 13 knows as soon as Blaze lost control of the Ghost Rider, he bugged out because the Hulk hadn't hurt an innocent yet.
