Everything looking great... Eaton's X-Factor looks espeically good, very Alan Davisesque. Shame he couldn't stay on Excalibur until Cornell took over, he's really improving by leaps and bounds.

Silvestri's pencils are gorgeous as ever, that Ramos cover makes me *almost* not hate Scottie leaving and even Tan's work looks shockingly decent (is Miki the butcherer gone?). I'm pumped!

Issue #100 of Exiles starts a new arc for that series, it was announced. A crossover with New Excalibur ends Claremont’s run on the latter book. Fans were told to look for interesting new developments with Blink.

Paul Cornell (Wisdom) is taking over New Excalibur. The British writer who recently contributed an episode of Dr. Who was apparently accidentally drunk during a recent meeting with Marvel in England. Joe felt bad for telling the story, but went on with it anyway. Cornell said this is the book he’s always wanted to write for Marvel. He does plan to change the line-up, which may happen during Messiah Complex

I had a feeling that Cable might be back. I still think he'll be a very different character somehow, as the current regime at Marvel doesn't seem to like convoluted characters very much---or at least characters that they didn't have a hand in convoluting.;)

I'll reserve judgment until I hear more about Marvel's plans for Cable. He can be cool under the right direction, but he can also be incredibly headache-inducing and lame if the wrong creative team gets ahold of him.

Wow looks cool.

The cover with Madrox and Layla not only looks creepy but also seems to indicate that they will go through some things together.

New X-men also looks great. For the me the coolest thing is that X-23 now also wears an standart uniform like most of the team. The good thing about that is that it ties her more into the role of someone from a team and not a i can do everything alone type like wolverine.
It simply has something symbolic.

Also nice to see that not only Pixie and Anole stay as team member in spotlight but also that David is part of the team.

This shows next to Rictor that being a depowered mutant doesn't mean that you can't be part of a X-men team.
Mutant is mutant depowered or not they are still in the same boat and somewhat connected, especialy those who still have parts of theire physical mutation.

I never thought Cable was actually dead to begin with, but I don't read C'n'D so I dunno if they dug up a corpse or not.

The X-offices have been planning these books and crossovers for over a year, something tells me that they wouldn't be "undoing" a damn thing 1 friggin issue into the story. I've held my tongue since X-Men #200 on this because people were so gullible that they believed Cable was dead; C'mon, he got handled like a ho by Gambit and Sunfire, that battle was crap to begin with.

Heared about that series, many say its an underdog. Great book but mostly overlooked by readers and so with low sales.

It's all been part of the plan. The X-writers have been planning Endangered Species and Messiah Complex for about a year now. Carey didn't kill Cable just to kill him, and if he's coming back it's not to "undo" Carey's work---it's to continue the story that Carey is involved in telling.

A friend of mine spoke to Mike Carey in San Diego and was told off-the-record that Cable isn't dead and Messiah Complex is going to be great for Cable's fans.

I don't see it as undoing what Carey has done, since it wasn't Carey's intention to kill Nathan. It's set-up for Messiah Complex.

Also loving it, but a while back when asked if the backround students would feature in Messiah Complex Chris said it'd just be the main team and a couple of other kids, so I don't think that cover means Nehzno is on the team - or else he'd have been on Skotties team cover. Same with Josh - he's there, but Chris has confirmed he't not on the actual "team". It's good to see Nehzno is finally being put to use and not created just for the sake of it!

How can it be being "undone" when he's still on the X-Books? It was obvious that Cable wasn't gonna be dead when we learned Alonso wanted to elevate him, Bishop and Forge earlier in the year. And Carey will still be on the X-Line, as he said himself!

Ellis/Pacheco Nightcrawler remains the best incarnation of the character, in my opinion. He was uncompromising, shrewd, and a born leader.

It also made that transformation into a trainee priest a few years later all the more illogical.

For some reason this is sad to hear because the number of important mutants who lost theire powers can be counted on both hands. Which will always bring up the question why they got depowered in first place.

Its ironic if we look at the beloved characters who lost theire powers and the beloved characters who kept theire powers we can somewhat say the beloved depowered characters are more of minority then those who kept theire powers.

Oh and personaly it makes me sad because it slims the chances of Marrow ever returning into an X-team even more.
Call me depressiv but i somewhat doubt someone would pick up a depowered mutant who looks too mutated to blend into non mutant role but is to depowered to fit into mutant roles.
She really caught the A$$-card with keeping those bones. Simply sad.

Millar said that his initial idea was to revamp the X-Books, and do 36 X-Books in one year. He researched it to death, but then heard that the new project with Hitch was becoming available, and couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Back on the topic of the X-Books, Millar said that the X-books are decent books, but he has a great plan for them and knows he can sell a lot of books. Right now though, he wants to do creator-owned stuff for a while and then come back to revamp the x-Books.

I just started getting used to the idea that Cable might be dead and now I've got mixed feelings about his apparent coming back. I've seen some people post that Carey said he's dead as a doorknob, but I guess maybe there's some conflicting information there (or purposeful misguiding). I'll reserve my judgment till he comes back, but I'm not convinced he is coming back. If anything JQ loves to fan the comicbook fans' flames with misdirection (i.e., Captain America's death), so I'm not going to put much stock in anything he says until I see it in the comic itself.

Somehow i'm kinda expecting him to turn up at some point given that he is a temporal anomaly and we've seen the marauders/acolytes go after time displaced individuals. Tryp definitely counts as one. It also seems clear the marauders/acolytes/masque's gang want to ensure one specific future comes true, one that wll repower people.
Tryp's future is the only one i seen so far that showed repowerment after M-day. You'd think that would spark an interest in how and when repowerment takes place in Tryp's future, neither question has been answered so far. Tryp also said if x-factor continued their investigation it would somehow result in repowerment of mutants.

Kitty - Probably dead. Majorly regressed from Excalibur.

Hellcat - Appears about once a year if that, was dead, was crazy.

Jean - Dead. Convoluted. Attracted to a hairy troll.

Magma - Crazy ass bitch.

Rachel - All of a sudden she's Rachel Grey, doesn't know shit, sleeps with Cloud from Final Fantasy.

I hate Kurt with swords! Why must everyone have blades? I made sure I neve rused sword moves with Kurt in X-Men Legends 2...it just feels wrong!

Get real. Kurt has always held a sword- its part of the character. Now if anyone else did, I would be pretty upset. Except for maybe Anime Warren from the Austen run- he looks like he could use a sword or two (look at one of Ramos's angel drawins from his run on Crimson to see why Angels should always carry swords).

Yes, having a Dazzler avatar indicates I don't like any other characters. :rolleyes: Obviously you only like Emma Frost and hate everything else, because she inspired not only your username but also appears in your avatar.
