I wonder if someone who has them all in a convenient place could supply me with a list of all of Dini's Batman story arcs from Detective? Ideally, I'd like the name of the story and the issues it appeared in. I know they were intermingled with a lot of stories by other writers, that's why I'm asking. Thanks!

Thanks! Does anybody know what issues are in the trade? Is it #821-826?

^That is correct and there is going to be a second collection of Dini's stories out this October.

Was 'Trust' Dini? I'm sure that was a fill-in writer.
It was an INCREDIBLY good story, but I don't think Dini wrote it.

He did. (it was Zee, how could Dini NOT write it?)

It didn't feel like Paul Dini, but it was him. Honestly, I didn't like Trust all that much. And, after Dini's last Joker story (which was AMAZING), I expected this one to have a little more "umph" in the end.

Trust is the story that I liked so much, I decided to give Dini another chance. These trades are not just the Dini stories, however, but the fill-in's as well. The first volume only has one non-Dini story, but I think there are several in the second. And I already have three of the issues that'll be in volume 2, so I'm just going to pick up the first one.

Incidentally, it appears to be O/P already from DC; at least it's not on their current list.

The local library had a copy of the first TPB, so I checked it out. Man, I'm surprised how good these comics are. They really put the DETECTIVE in Detective Comics. They're really good detective stories that manage to be both good Batman stories and good mysteries in general. They're just really well done.
