I'm glad to know the pre-requirement of the X-Mansion blowing up during a crossover is firmly in place, as indicated here.

So, any guesses on who/how it gets all BOOM?

Is that the mansion though?

I can't tell, just looks like a random thing.

It blows up again? I thought Belasco did that already. I really hope that the X-men have good insurance.

I'm sure I said a few months ago it was about time the X-Mansion blew up.

Yay!

Emma woke up with one thing on her mind: "I just hate everything. Time to redecorate."

So she psychically took control of Tabitha Smith and made her blow up the mansion. And that's why Tabby will be back in early 2008, according to Nick Lowe. See how Marvel makes sense?

They should really take Logan's suggestion and try to make the next one out of lego.

It reminds me of Silent Hill, actually... Silent Hill 3 to be precise. I don't really know why.

That's not the mansion. That's a demolished city block as repowered mutants led by the acolytes battle it out with the x-men for control of mutant fiefdoms springing up. Summers is leading the rebel x-army, Forge raises the XSE to avoid a full out war between humans and repowered mutants. Just a theory of course.

I also thought it looked like a city block. I just didn't express my opinion, because I was too busy talking about Silent Hill.

Heh, maybe you're right.

Nevertheless, it is a foregone conclusion that the Mansion WILL blow up. It has to! It's in the crossover contract! :p

I'm betting Scott blows it up after finding out that Emma has been having kinky sex with...WOLVERINE!

The mansion has been blown up before. What's the big deal?

Plenty of things have been done before and are still considered exciting. I mean look at Claremont, hasn't done a new plot in years, still gets work and sells books.

I prefer Finch to Bachalo anyday, myself..

After reading X-Factor #22, I wonder if the new mutant sanctuary will be builty after the mansion blows up? Makes sense..I think it would be nice for a new mutant haven instead of the X-Mansion.

My guess is that the Purifiers blow up the Mansion I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case If can blow up a Buss full of mutant children I wouldn't be surprised if succeeded in blowing up the actual mansion

If someone was going to blow the school up i'd put my bet on them right now.
Though i mean the school... not again, how many times is it going to be destroyed lol so theres still the possibility that it isnt xavier's.

How could you even think that Bachalo's or Ramos' #200 cover could even compare to Finch's?... They can't.

Bachalo & Ramos had their chance... Time to move on to another artist.

... Regardless if anyone likes it or not.

I read the issue where Morrison blew up the Mansion.... OFF PANEL?! just an hour ago. Sorry to go off topic but some of Planet X makes absolutely no sense and some of it is awesome. The way Jean died (STUPID) the final scene with Scott and Jean (AWESOME)

Anyway I will let you continue now

It was an anniversary cover though, so it wouldn't reflect the current storylines like the other two. And if you look at it, the blue team members that started on Adjectiveless were front and center for the most part.

Forge, Cable, and Beast have a new mansion "pop-up" from underground ever few months..

They are hundreds of back-up mansions underground all the way to NYC.

Hmm. How many times has the mansion been destroyed in the recent past? Just curious...

Magneto destroyed it in Planet X

Wolverine flew an X-plane into it when he was brainwashed by Hydra.

Danger flew an X-plane into it.

Belasco destroyed at least some of it.

Hmm I could swear there were more times. Did Exodus' brotherhood destroy it when Chuck Austen was writing. That period is kinda hazy.
