Rogue and Madrox

I'm sure some of you are going to smack me down and tell me the answer is somewhere.... whatever. I did a search and couldn't find it.

Has Rogue ever absorbed Madrox's power? And if she did, would her dupes all have her absorbing power? Or if Rogue already had another power on top of her own, would the dupes have that too?

I'm imagining something like Rogue absorbing Wolverine and Madrox, and creating tons of Wolverine/Rogue dupes that can absorb powers.... Seems like it would end almost any fight pretty quick.

the only time i saw it was in the that cartoon series, she pretty much trounced the other x-men "single-handedly"

Only time I've ever seen Rogue absorb Madrox was in mutant leage.

i remember mostly rogue using storm and nightcrawler's powers, but yeah her dupes seem to have the same powers as well...

This question was asked in Wizard in the 90's. Not that their answer really matters but it made sense. They said that she would become an invincible army.

And yet, no one using a Rogue/Madrox or Mimic/Madrox combo has ever won the Mutant League.

I think there was one on X-men Evolution and if my memory is correct the episode is titled Self-Possessed.

sadly, we might not see this soon as with the current status of rogue's powers, one touch and it'd kill madrox.

I remember she absorbed Nightcrawlers powers when she was first debuted and kept teleporting.

I remember that episode too that was awesome. I looked up some clips from the show. And if you go down to Season Three and look at the clip from Self-Possessed you will see Rogue with Jamie's power kicking Wolverine's butt. Also the one were she takes out the Brotherhood by herself is really cool. That one is in Season four.

I just liked the songs. "Who am I now? Don't touch me or I might just take you out!" or something. It was interesting.

The most memorable episode of Evolution (because really, I didn't like it all that much) was that Siren's episode. Where Tabitha, Jean, Kitty, Rogue and Magma were underground crime fighters, and there was a music video. Great.

Anyway, I'd imagine Rogue Jamie's power would help her maintain sanity while absorbing people. She could just assign one personality to each dupe...

I think it would be great for Rogue to totally absorb Mystique, either leaving her powerless or even killing her. Then let Mystique's personality fight for dominance in Rogue's head. Perhaps she could even somehow use shape-shifting powers to get around her inablity to touch.

i think that would be deadly for other characters as well, imagine rogue totally being psylocke or whoever and not only possessing their looks and personality, but their powers as well. if the carol denvers personality was still there and was more dominant, she'd change rogue's looks to her own.

If Rogue absorbed Madrox and made duplicates of herself her duplicates would not be able to absorb powers because the duplicates would have Mental blocks
