I am posting this new thread to find out what each of you thought, or did, or panels you went to at San Diego Comic Con 2007?

I myself peddled my comic book, Youth in Asia as it was released in trade paperback format. I met a lot of great creators and also some celebrities and shop owners who said they would check my book out. We, my girlfriend and I, even met Simon Bisley who liked the book a lot and even said he would want to do a pin-up or short story involving the origin of Agnew, the sidekick to the main character, Nash.
A list of creators and celebs that got a copy of the trade include: Kevin Eastman (TMNT and Heavy Metal); Simon Bisley (Lobo's Back and Heavy Metal); Amanda Connor (the Pro and upcoming Green Arrow and Black Canary Wedding); Bobby Rubio (Alcatraz High); Ryan Claytor (Elephant Eater Comics); David Peterson (Mouse Guard); Josh Howard (Dead @ 17); Neil Gaiman (Sandman); Jeff Smith (Bone); Rob Van Dam and Sabu (ECW); and Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th 7,8,9, and X)
Please share with me your stories and treasures you came home with.

Hey!

SDCC is the best spot to catch up on Indie stuff. For years now it has been where I go to buy Black Hole and anything by Clowes. I got a couple things by Jeremy Tinder there this year. Usually there is more for me to do there than I have time for, even though I get a four day pass. I like to look there for things that will not show up in my local shop. I thought I heard about your book. Was there a mention of it in Wizard or something?

No there was no mention of my book in Wizard, although that would be cool.
I am micro press, based out of Tucson, Arizona, but soon to be hitting a shop or two in the Phoenix area. It is possible that you may have gotten a card that I was passing out. Either way, I hope you might check out my work at the link below.
I will also have my website up very soon. I have it being built right now.
