View Full Version : If Countdown is the 'spine' of the DCU, what's the point of this forum?

Since, unlike the more or less self-contained 52, Countdown ties into EVERYTHING in the DCU, what criteria is used to decide what goes in this forum?

I mean there's a Captain Carrot thread in here for love of Pete!

It's really annoying to try and read threads about the DCU when they're scattered at random between two forums. It's not as bad as the Marvel forums yet but it's getting there.

Since threads tend to stay on the front page of the forum for few days can we please merge this back?

We had to start another forum because Marvel had more than us. Next week, Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew actually get their own forum!

Barry Allen should get a forum before Cap. We could talk about how great he was, and how great he would be if he came back and how he's still dead.

This forum seems to be for Countdown (and 52), major events (such as Final Crisis), alternate Earths (such as Captain Carrot's Earth), and tie-ins therein.

I read both forums regularly, so I don't get lost. If you are getting lost, perhaps try using the subscription system. That might help.

Believe it or not, while Countdown is the spine of the DC universe, not every book ties into it, or at least not all the time. Thus, a separate forum.

That makes things worse. If there's a seperate Batman forum I know that's the place to read and talk about Batman, week in, week out. But in this forum some weeks Teen Titans is here, some weeks it's the DCU forum. Same with JLA, Green Lantern, Flash etc.
