Gene Ha....how can he afford to work on the Authority?

Jim Lee is a mega millionaire. Grant Morrison I would say is pretty well off. How can Gene afford to work on such a late comic? Again, is he just waiting for Morrison to hand in the script or is he busy doing covers or is financially comfortable with his previous work? Such a long gap not to be paid, unless again he's doing other work I haven't heard of.

He's doing other books in the duration. He's doing a Justice League story and is also going to work on new Top Ten stuff...

i don't think moores working on it, either ha is writing it or zandar cannon is writing it

Yeah, one of the artists is writing it. The original series (and graphic novel) was one of my all-time favorites, but news of a new series without Moore leaves me skeptical, at least. Did anyone read that horrible Ordway series? I couldn't even finish it. I heard that Zander and Cannon put a lot of the background details into it, so that's pretty promising. At the very least, the artwork will be amazing.

I'd heard Zander Cannon is working on it. He's a cool guy, so I'll check it out.

Plus, he has an awesome name.
