We all like to toot out horns when we have a up coming game we are looking forward to come out.. Well this one was pushed back to allow the special collectors edition packaging which included some extras enough time to be properly readied. (artbooks were late for packaging.)
but this gives us more time to talk and speculate.

Here are some trailers to help wet the palettes of fellow gamers.

Okay, now that you looked at atleast one of those, are you considering diving into this strange world of the macabre and school daze? Don't you just wish high school days were filled with socializing, quizzes, gym class and dating, to then only have your nights filled with demon slaying, guns, demonic super powers and slammin music?

"Persona, Persona! Show me your Persona!" - Joker.

Can't wait for the next iteration in the series.

Personal 3 and Growlanser: Heritage of War Special Edition both beat the odds by getting a stateside release. No only if they would localize Front Mission 5.

I was hoping to generate a little more buzz but maybe people wont know what they are missing until its already been out for a couple of years.

You wont. The only folks interested in it are the ones who have known about it coming for months. I pre-ordered the special edition in june.

The masses like fammiliar anime type characters but stay far far away from asian games they dont see on cartoon network or has "pokemon" in the title. Like killer 7 wasnt the best game but it was fun to play because it was so different than normal type games but sales were for crap, I know most people picked it up and thought it looked stupid and put it down for the new madden 2019 or the new over hyped and overly generic halo or one of its clones.

I like shin megami though. Nocturne was my favorite of his, the last couple digital devil sagas were ok but over rated in the community that plays those games.

I was looking at my persona on ps1 and almost got it out. I dont think I ever finished back when I got it, I finished persona 2 but I dont recall much about last half of the game.

I have never finished a Persona game, not for the lack of trying or enjoyment. They are (for atleast me.) some of the most challenging games to ever grace my TV screen. I loved both 1 and 2, 2 more so I think though there were certain elements in 1 I wish they'd bring back like the choice between using melee or ranged combat. :) Guns ans Swords/Pikes/Axes/Whips/Boxing Gloves whatever man that was some fun stuff.

I wonder will Persona 3 allow you to negotiate with Demons like you did in part 1 and 2... though part 2 expanded on this by having each character have their own unique way of interacting with demons, way part one did something like that to, but I think part two allowed group interactions with demons. yeah im sure thats what it was. Those was some interesting innovations.

Never played a Persona game but I'm looking forward to this. It kills me to see the game already been reviewed and it's been pushed back.

Persona 2, and Shin Megami Tensai:Nocturne, for me.

Love'em both. Seeing demons hanging around modern Japan and not thinking a thing about it is always awesome.

Wish the FES extra would come though. Still buying it regardless.

Also after the big budget Digital Devil duology the last game really disappointed me.

I'm getting this for sure. Still plugging away at Nocturne and Devil Summoner(former's too difficult to play for long, and the other I just grabbed), but this looks great.

Any game where your character can only access his/her powers by shooting themselves in the head is worth a look at in my opinion.

Let me just say if you're not playing Persona 3 then you're not playing anything special. I'm sorry but it really is that good. :D

It is quite fantastic I must say. Im just really happy to see certain groups start coming to state side a bit more, while i love Square Enix, its good to see some other competition and game developers like Shin Megami and Nippon Ichi still pressing state-side releases....i was damn close to having to just move to Japan haha.

P3 seems to capture everything i love into one game, turn-base battles that are fun but still have a huge layer of strategy, a deep and interesting storyline, a great cast of characters, amazing anime cutscenes, a fantastic soundtrack, and a style of building a character up that reflects something along the line of the Sims haha. Its so much fun its hard to stop playing. If you are familiar with Shin Megami games, which im sure you are if you picked this up, then im sure youll be very happy with this game.

And is it just me or is the voicework on this game top of the line? every voice sounds right for the character and feels natural. On the same level as FFXII's voice-acting (i know a lot of people dog that game, which i dont understand, but no matter how you feel, you cant deny the voice-acting)

Agreed on all points save for the soundtrack(which I just can't get into for some reason). Enjoying the heck out of this game. Still, never before have I played a game where I so often said to myself "dammit, I should've done THAT instead!"

We all have our taste as well as our strong suits, im a very open person and when it comes to music I love just about everything so long as it has a good beat. With that said Track 9 Deep Breath is one of my favorites as well as track 3. :)

Yes im also enjoying the dialog and the character interactions. Sometime yesterday I got my Charm up to the 3rd block after playing through the story some more people started calling my handsome and pretty boy. lol, Thus far (early june.) I have my Academics at average (2nd block, I did really good on my exams, scoring pretty high apparently.), my Charm like I said is at the 3rd block, and my courage was at ordinary (2nd block for awhile.) but I just got it to the 3rd block not to long ago (Determined I believe its called.)

I'm pursuing a romantic relationship with Yuko the Swim Team Manager, shes so cute, getting close to this as shes commited on how people might start thinking of us as that and of course i've been lying down the charming one liners. :o She will be mine, of yes she will be mine. :p

I'm looking at my copy right now, but I'm afraid to open it. I heard that there are sim elements in this game, and with the sole exception of the Shenmue duology, I hate sim type games.

Another issue I have is the price of the game. For people like me we would gladly pay hundreds of dollars for an RPG like this. However for most gamers, in todays market, having them pay 49.99 for a Playstation 2 rpg is asking too much. Even the highly anticpated Rouge Galaxy was only 39.99. I fear that the price point of 49.99 is going to hurt sales.
