CCI XTRA: Minx Announces 2008 Releases

Last week at CCI, DC Comics' young adult imprint Minx announced new projects for 2008, including work by Brian Wood, Andi Watson, Rebecca Donner, David Hahn, Mariko Tamaki and more.

No interest in most of those. Especially the sequels to The Plain Janes and Clubbing.

I will probably check out Emiko Superstar for Steve Rolston though and if Brian Wood's The New Your Four gets decent reviews I may check that one out too.

The others all feature creators I'm not that interested in, synopsis' I'm really not interested in, or are sequels to the aforementioned books I disliked.

Still, nice to see the line is doing well enough to warrant more releases. I appreciate the line's goal even if I haven't appreciated most of its output.

Well it's meant for a girl audiance Ryan. ;) One odd thing about it is they don't seem to interact with boys which is odd for a girls line since huh, boys usually attract girls don't they?

And, is it just me or does that line seems entirely aimed at girls that are art student types?
