So I recently picked up the first Madman trade at a used book store, simply out of curiosity. After flying through it yesterday, today I went to the local comic shop to pick issues #1-3 of MAC that I had seen for weeks before.
I'm assuming that issue 1 and 2 have been out for too long to maintain much discussion, but I'm dying to know what people thought about issue 3 (the best issue so far, imo).
I have easily spent half an hour so far pouring over the comic panel pages, trying to figure out who influenced each one. Some, like Schultz, Erik Larsen, Jack Kirby, were easy because of their distict style (or characters, like Groening). Others stumped me. Does anyone have a key- or do people want to try to figure each panel out here?
