If each X-Man were given a sidekick, who would it be?

The sidekick could be powered, or depowered. Active, or inactive. Hero or villain. Mutant or human. Mechanical or superpowered human... Or, they can be from an entirely different part of the Marvel universe, so long as they're a part of the 616 universe. They can be paired off by having similar personalities, or similar powers.

If you want to throw in WHY you think they'd pair off well, then do so. And while you're at it, indicate which is the lead hero and which is the sidekick.

I loved their dynamic in Gen X. I think Emma's seriousness and Jubilee's eccentricity would be a great combination.

I also, think that Monet and Jubilee together would be hysterical because the two would constantly fight about who the actual leader is. They were my favorite relationship in Gen X. They had the funniest lines together and even though they made fun of each other, they hung out in together all the time.

Chamber has a furnace of intense psionic energy in his chest and uses it in a variety of different way, and is a decent telepath. He'd have to be to constantly use telepathy to communicate with everyone all the time.

Not familiar with the whole "currency speech" thing you're referring to, since I was on and off during Milligain's run, for that exact same reason... Bobby being "dumbed" down.

But for the time being, I'm content with what MC is doing with Bobby. I only wish he would take it a step further and make him more of a leader, than a follower. And if MC leaves the book, hopefully the next guy will continue Iceman's upwards progress.

that was the genious of the character, & its something few writers/readers seem to get about him(or want to). A firey wound(or protruding bones or maggots for a stomach) arent considered desirable in superhero mainstream comics these days. Eventually Marvel felt turning him into a mini version of a tired X-villain was a better alternative... :rolleyes:
